I just wanted to let you know that any news of JSS Gallery's early
death are greatly exaggerated. In the past month or so I have added
over a hundred new and/or improved scans of Sargent's art from museums
or online archives; and I continue to add support information. My last
count of the gallery has over 3,900 webpages.
Much of my current work has been devoted to getting alternative images
of paintings -- closeups that I find in places like Flickr or people
like Mark Stephenson who are sending me scans of their photography
