Date estimated by Natasha. If I remember correctly Richard Ormond and Elaine Kilmurray, in their book "JSS, The Early Portraits, Complete Paintings Vol I" pegged this painting at Calcot in 1888. If I'm remembering wrong then it was at Fladbury Rectory, Pershore the following year.
