An excellent site, and you obviously have put a great deal of work into it.
I am writing to ask about the date of birth of Jean Guy de Poilloue, Vicomte de
Saint Perier. Your published portrait shows it as 1845, which may very well be
correct. However, the Saint-Perier genealogy lists his date of birth as 1843. I
am curious as to where you obtained his dob and dod. Are they from Musee d\'Orsay
or elsewhere?
Separately, are the two portraits now on display or housed at Musee d\'Orsay?
Someone suggested to me that they may be at the French American Friendship
Museum at Blerancourt, near Paris (is this the same as Musee d\'Orsay?) If not,
it might be worthwhile to clarify where the paintings are now located.

Hi Tracy
The info came from the Joconde
Database, which, when I got the image and info, had a page of text on each
of the paintings, I can't find those pages now -- they moved it. I assume this
info was coming from Musée d'Orsay
Secondly, I'm not aware as to which museums
are showing what, other then contacting them directly and asking. Sorry I can't
be of more help.
