Emily Sargent -- English painter (1859-1929) Date? Private collection Watercolor on paper 29.2 x 23.5 cm jpg: comunedisanremo.it This was painted while Emily was staying in the house of Marie Marguerite at Villa di corso Cavallotti e in San Remo very near her sister and brother-in-law Violet and Louis Francis Ormond. The two had married in 1891. His parent's lived at the Villa Ormond. A very interesting account of the Eimily's brother-in-law's family along with her nephews and nieces is written by Richard Ormond at this website. John
