The artist caricatures of two portrait shown by Sargent at the Royal Academy that year.  In the top right-hand corner three is a caricature of Ena and Betty, Daughters of Asher Wertheimer, which Furniss has dubbed "The Strong Woman." To the left of that a bit is a caricature of Mrs. Cazalet and Her Children, which Furniss has dubbed "The Lady Ventriloquist."
